Indie Films Festival 4.25.8

Short docs at the Somerville Theatre.

1. Kids+Money.
Sad type of LA culture. Get out to the real world. So very sad. A good start to take those people and make them a part of the other movies.
2.If a body meet a body. A look at the LA Coronor's department following the people who take care of those without an ID. Not for a weak stomach. Not even Mike Rowe and "Dirty Jobs" would do that work.
3.34x25x36. The measurements of a "perfect" female figure which is all about those who make the plastic display models in stores, fashion lines. Didn't get this one at all. Boston doesn't have a bunch of single women this size anyways. Only in Southbeach, Brazil or SoCal.
4. La Corona (The Crown). A beauty pagent in Bogata Columbia.....in an all female prison. Cell block vs Cell Block. No Miss South Carolina responses, but one wasn't too far off. A look inside the lives of a few messed up ladies. Discussions after the contest was over was more poignant.

Packers games 2008 4.15.8

The times for the Packers games has been announced. 4 Prime time games. Not bad considering that HOF Brett Faver will no longer be the main draw. Can't complain about the matchups. First 3 weeks will probably be the deciding part along with @ Seattle then Indy at Lambeau. No late Decemeber games. Start and end with Division teams.

2008 Games and Times.

In other news, sadly my pet cat has passed away. RIP. I will enjoy the free Dunkin Donut in his honor.

Stupid Taxes 4.10.8

Getting the forms in order. Schedule D, A, E, X, F, 1040, 8880, W-2, W-4, 1099, INT, all the alphabet soup in order to find out I now owe money. I know the founding fathers didn't set our government to be like this so what do we need to do in order to get some kind of fiscal order set up?

Now the state taxes want medical information? Sticking their nose in business that they don't belong. I think this is the last straw for this state.

Buzz the new coach 4.8.8

Marquette hires a Crean holdover? I don't think I would want to deal with any of his coaches right about now and start fresh given the opportunity. We'll have to see how many D-1 players this "great recruiter" can get. Chances of getting destroyed in the Big East? "I'm a winner." where you have a sub-.500 record in your one head coaching job? Way to go. Wake me when the BOT make a new decent hire.

Late fees of over 30 on one day late payments? WTF? How is Citibank losing money?

Crean leaves MU 4.1.8

I wish it was an April Fools joke, but sadly the rumors of his departure turned into a media onslaught. I wish him luck as he has helped build the mens team and taken them to about as high as he could in the Big East. Tough to fill those shoes but hopefully the next coach can bring them back to the NCAA final four. What I don't understand is who is expecting to coach since most of the team is gone and will face sanctions from the NCAA.
