Possessions prayer:
Lord of the enough, help me to understand monderation not as self-denial but as the celebration of all that I already possess. It's hard to resist the cultural voices compelling me to spend and accumulate. Help me focus on the abundance around me. Teach me to be grateful. Teach me to enjoy what I have. Teach me to know when enough is enough. Amen.
Learning prayer:
God, grant to me a teachable spirit, a mind wide with possiblities and eager to embrace knowledge. Make me hungry to learn and humble enough to enjoy it. I do not yet know it all. Don't let me forget that. Amen.
