As for Rutgers advancing? Not this year. Syracuse took them down in the Big Apple. Surprises from the conference games: DePaul (loss), Maryland (loss), BC (loss), West Virginia (win). Not so surprising sports items: UAB, Ohio State, and Purdue results, Favre coming back to play another season for the Packers (what else are you going to do in Mississippi?), trouble with the Vikings head coach Tice and tickets, Steroids (isn't this the oldest headline news since???? Well, it was going on well before the spring training reports and Giambi, Congress, and Canseco.......Some fans know that cheaters are in the game. What MLB does about them is one way to make the coverage disappear.
