A great observation that I was going to point out once I found that the heir to Diener has left.
"Transfers have wrecked havoc with the MU program. You can NOT average 1-2 transfers per year, and remain a consistent winner.
Unfortunately, the transfers have caught up to MU and Crean. With a senior class that only has 2 players that were recruited into the program as freshman, the lack of leadership (sans Deiner) is a real problem. There are only a handful of upperclassmen, but 5 players that are freshmen and 5 that are sophomores (including 3 transfers that aren't currently eligible). It may be a long season or three before MU really breaks the juggernaut in the top half of the Big East."
