Another blow to the repeat NCAA tourney trip that is the Marquette men's basketball team. A set back at Charolette with Diener going down with a neck injury. Syracuse loss to Seton Hall was another one of those surprising results. BC over NC State in OT. Kentucky barely beating Tennessee in OT were the other games that were a little surprising.
Crean has to turn it around QUICK or the dreaded NIT (Not Invited Tourney) will be the seasons destination, which is not a way to follow up a Final Four run from the previous year.
