Now I know it is only Thanksgiving, but to have your football teams season end before December is tough to take. A loss to the Lions has sealed the fate for the Packers. The losses to the Vikings, Cardinals, Chiefs, Rams, Eagles, and Lions have all but eliminated the chance to somehow make the playoffs. One "Golden Rule" in the NFL is to NOT count on the other teams in your division or conference to help you in order to make the playoffs. That is one fact absent during the game today where the Packers defense looked lost. Failure to get the first downs is what did in the team. Sure the running game failed to show, but some weak adjustments were made to counter, but the turnovers took away what the passing game was supposed to have fixed. Losing to the Cardinals and Lions is not what playoff caliber teams do. O well. Always next year. Happy Thanksgiving Everyone.
